Amir has been making movies since he was nine years old. He's written and directed commercials for brands like BIC, RushCard, and the Better Business Bureau, shot and edited digital content for DreamWorks Animation and Film Independent, and cut the feature films The Wilderness, starring Wednesday's Hunter Doohan, and Nickels, starring Rob Riggle, as well as the second season of HBO's The Case Against Adnan Syed, directed by the Oscar-nominated Amy Berg. Amir is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts' MFA in Film program, where his first feature screenplay East of Westwood was named to the Purple List.
